IAMA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Soprano Dr. Yixuan Han. The organization believes in the transformative power of opera, music, and the arts to inspire positive change in young people and communities. IAMA’s 3 of 6 board and executive committee are made up of engineers, doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs who are passionate about community service and share a deep love for music and the arts.
Dr. Yixuan Han, DMA, is a pioneering educator and accomplished soprano, known for developing a new version of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) for Chinese songs. She has studied under world-renowned vocal pedagogues at the College of Music of the University of North Texas and has won numerous prestigious vocal competitions. Dr. Han also brings extensive teaching experience, having trained many award-winning students. Currently, she serves as the president of HanOpera Music Academy and is a founding member and the Artist Director of the IAMA. Dr. Han's dedication to community service, particularly in nurturing musical and artistic appreciation among young people, and her passion for blending world music with classical and local U.S. music highlight her broad artistic vision and commitment to cultural enrichment and artistic appreciation in the community.

Dr. Zunxuan "Digger" Chen brings a wealth of experience to his role as the president of IAMA, blending his expertise in intellectual property and business law with a deep passion for community service and multicultural arts. His diverse educational background in pharmacology, medicine, and law—acquired in both China (Tongji Medical) and the United States (UPenn, Temple Law, and SMU Law)—underscores his broad understanding of different cultures and disciplines.
Dr. Chen's commitment to raising the next generation and enriching communities through multicultural music and arts is evident in his leadership roles. As a coordinator and teacher of a youth group at his local church, he has actively contributed to youth development. Additionally, his legal acumen is highlighted in his roles as general counsel and governance committee member of ACP Foundation, vice president and general counsel of both the Tongji Medical Overseas Alumni Association and the North Texas Hubei Association. |
Dr. Zhe "Grace" Guo brings extensive expertise to her role as Secretary of IAMA, seamlessly integrating her skills in project management, strategic planning, and execution with a deep passion for community service and multicultural arts. Her diverse educational background—spanning Operations Management, Venture Capital, and Finance from both Northeastern University in China and prestigious institutions in the U.S., including UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and Harvard—reflects her broad understanding of various cultures and disciplines.
Dr. Guo’s dedication to nurturing the next generation and enriching communities through multicultural music and arts is evident in her leadership roles. As a coordinator and teacher for the youth and parent group at Christian Communications Community, she has made a significant impact on youth and family development. |
Ms. Hong "Henna" Xiang, MS, APRN, NP-C., has been working as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner for over 25 years in hospitals, home health, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, health insurance company, and primary care clinic. She serves as a Graduate Nursing Clinical Education Specialist at the University of Arlington. She also founded a not-for-profit organization “International Health Education Alliance” to promote health and education around the world. Henna is a proud mother of three wonderful children. Henna is actively involved in her church and her community. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, photography, and flower arrangement. |
Ms. Weina Wang holds a master's degree in human resources management and has been a management professional for almost two decades. Outside of work, she is committed to contributing back to the community and growing talents. She used to be the chair of "Chinese Employee at Microsoft", which has over ~2000 active members. She has also been the speaker and planner for various community events that promote personal growth, professional networking, leadership, entrepreneurship, physical and mental well-being, etc. She took the VP of Youth Board position at IAMA as she is passionate for music and arts and believes that IAMA provides the youth a great platform to make positive impact on our community.
Ms. Wang lives with her husband and two sons in Dallas, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, food, music, and movies. |
